GatheringUs was acquired by Keeper Memorials in 2022. Keeper is an industry leader in Online Memorials and Virtual Funerals. We believe Keeper is the perfect partner because of their commitment to help create more meaningful and interactive experiences for families through events and memorial pages. The team has a decade of experience as an online memorial platform and a broad range of partnerships across the industry.

 

2026 Update

All GatheringUs Memorial pages are being migrated to the Keeper Memorials website. All your memories will now live on a beautiful Keeper Online Memorial page.


Where is my Memorial page? What will happen to the content on my memorial page?

Your full GatheringUs memorial page will be transferred to a Keeper Memorial page. All photos, tribute posts, and other content will be seamlessly moved to the Keeper Memorials website. While the layout will look different, you will receive a Keeper Plus Memorial page (a $99 USD value) at no cost, which includes many additional features.

You will receive an email with more details when the transfer is scheduled to occur.

 

How will I login to my account?

You will receive an email at the address you use to log in to your GatheringUs account with instructions to set up a new password for your Keeper Memorials account. Once your password is set, you can log in and access your memorial page at any time by visiting www.mykeeper.com/login.

If you don't complete the setup right away, you will be guided through the onboarding steps the next time you visit either the GatheringUs or Keeper Memorials website.

You will continue to use the same email address to log in; however, your password must be updated for security purposes. If you would like to change your login email, you can do so after logging in to Keeper for the first time.

What will happen to my GatheringUs page?

  • Your GatheringUs Memorial page will be moved to MyKeeper.com.
  • No Memorial pages will remain on GatheringUs.com.
  • You will be able to continue honoring your loved ones' legacy, sharing their story, and connecting with your community just as you did before — just with a new look and additional features.

 

Can I keep my GatheringUs site?

No Memorial pages will remain on GatheringUs.com — all Memorial pages are being moved to MyKeeper.com.

 

Can I create a new Memorial page on GatheringUs?

Any new Memorial pages can be created on MyKeeper.com.

Does Keeper cost anything to use?

Keeper offers both free and paid Keeper Plus Memorial pages.

As a legacy and trusted GatheringUs account holder, the memorial page being transferred from GatheringUs will automatically receive Keeper Plus access at no cost. This means the specific memorial page we are transferring will include many of the additional Keeper Plus features.

Any new memorial pages you create in the future may require upgrading to Keeper Plus to access the full set of features.

Will my GatheringUs URL still work?

Your memorial page will automatically redirect to its new home on Keeper Memorials, so any existing links will continue to work seamlessly.

 

What will happen to my GatheringUs Donations and Fundraisers?

All donations to charities have been migrated with your Keeper memorial page, and remain active. Personal fundraising is not available on Keeper. All GatheringUs Personal fundraising has been processed and paid out. Keeper will be adding personal fundraising soon.
